Nice shots. Blue white and long shadows. Some storm. I see you in the bottom shot I think! Where does the sun set on that horizon? Might be at least as nice later… BTW your meta is in there if you did not know, just camera settings date/time no GPS. I run a plugin that shows me the meta on all images. ISO 80?
re: #1 Great White Snark
The shots were taken in the morning. I used the VGA setting on my Nikon 330. It is one step above a point and shoot camera. And yes that is my shadow. Sunset is when it goes behind the houses. How do you find the meta?
re: #2 PhillyPretzel
Right click the file or if you use Picasa that will show it.

One of the things I love about LR is that I can set up export profiles that take care of stripping all that info out and resizing things nicely.

I honestly do not know where the meta data is or how to find it. I just took the pictures right after I shoveled the walks. I know I did set the camera for VGA and it automatically used the beach/snow setting for the pictures. I used VGA because the last time I tried to upload my pictures I was told that my files were too big. I am happy to see that quite a few people like them.

It’s nothing to worry about in this case as there was no GPS or other sensitive info in it, and in any event it looks like what was there has been removed now.

That said, if you have an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad you might want to consider turning off photo geotagging (GPS location tagging) in your settings unless it’s important for you to keep track of where pics are taken. I keep mine off (instructions here).
